Benefit event in Lund to support antifascists from Nizhniy Novgorod

9th of March there was a benefit evening in Lund, a student city located in Southern Sweden. One of the topics of the event was repressions against antifascists from Nizhniy Novgorod.

An antifascist made a speech about the situation with the “Center against Extremism” in Russia, as well as about why it’s so important to support social activist in Russia.

The members of "Fara" organization also did a lesson about “how to support activists who have suffered from psychological trauma at demonstrations”. After that a movie called “The Terrorists” was showed. It’s a documentary movie about riots in Gothenburg in 2001, shown from the protesters point of view.

Activists from the social center arranged vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drinks.

All money collected at the event will be used to cover the costs of the repressed antifascist’s lawyer.

Thanks to the “Solidarity Group Lund” for organizing the event and supporting comrades from Russia.

Remember that from 16th to 18th of March there will be international days of solidarity with antifascists from Nizhniy Novgorod.
