A call for an international campaign against concentration camps in Russia

It is by now obvious that Russia is drowning ever-more deeply within a swamp of fascist dictatorship. Riding the wave of xenophobic hysteria which has flared up prior to the Moscow mayoral elections, a true concentration camp for migrants has been opened. It is being filled through an all-out hunt for ‘non-Europeans’ conducted on the streets of Moscow.

Resistance to the nordic mining boom – action camp in Finnish North Karelia starting the 18th of June 2013

Talvivaara’s nickel-uranium mine has caused the most serious environmental damage in the finnish history in decades. The mine has been continuously polluting the amazing waterscapes of eastern Finland. More and more people and organizations are demanding closing of the mine and the locals can’t use water from several lakes anymore, but it doesn’t seem to have any impact in a country where the finance elite knows that the government is in their service.

Terminal recession - what is it?

February 3rd at 2 PM at Kupoli of New student house, Mannerheimintie 5 B 7th floor

The present recession is not an ordinary hiccup in capitalist circulation. A terminal recession results as economic growth hits the limits of cheap energy. The amount of free labour de-grows. Various efforts of adjusting the so-called real economy to the end of growth follow. We have to expect not only uncertainty but also an increase in authoritarian tendencies.
