Fundraising for Lawyers' Work of the Tyumen Case against anarchists and anti-fascists in September

For over a year now, the trial in the Tyumen case has been moving through the Central District Military Court in Yekaterinburg. The defendants—anarchists and anti-fascists—were detained in 2022 and subjected to brutal torture. Since then, there have been 30 court hearings. Each one is a step in a long fight to protect the lives and futures of people who dared to resist.

In June, we managed to raise 48,000 rubles (about 500 euros). Thank you to everyone who contributed—your solidarity keeps this going.

Help the defendants of the "Tyumen case" in their fight for freedom

Six anarchists from Russia have been held in pre-trial detention for a year on spurious charges of creating a "terrorist community". According to Russian law, our comrades face a total of 5 to 15 years of imprisonment for the charged articles, and 15 to 30 years of life imprisonment for organizing or leading a "terrorist community". The main proof of guilt is a confession given under torture.

Repression of Anti-Fascists in the Urals: Arrests and Torture

On August 30-31 in Tyumen, Yekaterinburg and Surgut, six antifascists were detained and later placed in pre-trial detention centers. This is reported by the Prometheus telegram channel:

"On August 30, two anti-fascists were detained in Tyumen. According to investigators, they were carrying an explosive, which they allegedly wanted to test near the Tyumen Thermal Power Plant. On 2 September they were charged with fabrication of weapons and detained until the end of October.
