What follows is a (partial) translation of the September 25 episode of the weekly podcast of the Russian anarchist network and media platform, avtonom.org.
When reading texts like this it is necessary to, first and foremost, take into account the fact that their real impact is insignificant, even compared to the most powerless statements of the OSCE Minsk group and other international organisations. And therefore, the target of such texts is not the exact measurable impact, but rather the proclamation of the principles for the present and the future as a clarification of the position of the individuals and groups that were powerless in the past and can no longer back down from the struggle.
Azerbaijani anarchist Giyas Ibrahimov was detained by security services for alleged anti-war statements yesterday.
In the now-deleted live video he posted on his social media account, Ibrahimov broadcasted security forces entering his flat in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku and refusing to tell him why he was being detained.
8th of May, 5:30 AM two neo-Nazi brothers, Ambik and Arame attacked club "D.I.Y" in Yerevan. They broke window of the door and threw bottles filled with flammable mixture. At first, fire brigade which arrived in minutes claimed fire was due to a short circuit, but CCTV camera of a shop next door fixed how a bald young man in a bomber jacket and combat boots with white shoelaces committed the attack.
With a short delay we publish a short report or a mayday action in Yerevan. This was first action of a new organisation with a temporary name "Left alternative". A march through central streets of Yerevan began on from the center of capitalism in the city - Northern Street.
