Saint Petersburg: An artist and an anarchist have been discharged

Dzerzhinsky district court of Petersburg has freed from charge artist
Petr Pavlenskyi and anarchist Yaroslav Gradil. They were charged with
disorderly conduct for their "Freedom" performance at Malyi
Konyushennyi bridge. The message has came from Interfax with the link to
activists lawyer Dinar Idrisov. Both have been freed from custody.
According to Administrative Offences Code article 20.1, they were faced
up to 15 days of arrest.

At the same time, Idrisov added, another incident report has been filed,
accusing Pavlinskyi according to AOC article 20.2 (violation of public

Interview with anarchist prisoners in the so-called "Bolotnaya Case", former sailor Alexei Polikhovich, 22 (pictured), and historian Stepan Zimin, 21. They are amongst the many people charged with participation in the May 6, 2012 clashes with police during an opposition rally in Moscow's Bolotnaya Square. Both face a sentence of five-and-a-half year in penal colony, having spent over a year in pre-trial detention.

Varshavsky Warehouse Squat Case: St Petersburg Anarchist Black Cross statement on criminal charges against Denis Levkin

Denis Levkin has been imprisoned since February 2013. He was detained when the police stormed the squatted warehouse near the former Varshavsky Station in St Petersburg, Russia, and charged under article 318 part 2 of the Russian Criminal Code (use of violence dangerous for health or life against an officer). St Petersburg anarchists have taken an active part in occupation and defence of the warehouse, and the St Petersburg Anarchist Black Cross cannot ignore the trial in Levkin's case, which is now under way.

Nizhni Novgorod: Anarchist Ilya Romanov wounded in an explosion at draft office

Ilya Romanov, a 46-years old Russian anarchist, was wounded on 26th of October 2013. According to authorities, this happened when a homemade bomb suddenly went off in his hands. The accident happened next to a building occupied by Russian Army draft office.

Local police stated that the homemade bomb exploded early in the morning on saturday in the hands of anarchist. His left hand was torn off. The man was placed in hospital.

“One Must Serve the Motherland, I Say!”: Court Extends Alexei Gaskarov’s Arrest in Bolotnaya Square Case

On Tuesday, October 1, Moscow’s Basmanny District Court extended until February 6, 2014, the arrest of Alexei Gaskarov, whom police investigators suspect of involvement in the “mass riots” on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012. Gaskarov has been charged with violating Article 212, Section 2 (participation in mass riots) and Article 318, Section 1 (use of violence against authorities) of the Russian Federal Criminal Code.

Bicycle rally for Russian political prisoners in Helsinki, Saturday 7th of September 4 PM

We invite everyone who are concerned of political situation in Russia to join us for bicycle rally, which starts from 3 Seppää statue in Mannerheimintie saturday September 7th 4 pm. We will provide flags that you can stick to your bike. But we really appreciate if you bring your own sign or flag for your bike.

A call for an international campaign against concentration camps in Russia

It is by now obvious that Russia is drowning ever-more deeply within a swamp of fascist dictatorship. Riding the wave of xenophobic hysteria which has flared up prior to the Moscow mayoral elections, a true concentration camp for migrants has been opened. It is being filled through an all-out hunt for ‘non-Europeans’ conducted on the streets of Moscow.

Solidarity is needed - please help to get Alexey Sutuga out from prison on bail!

Member of Autonomous Action, anarchist Alexey Sutuga has been remanded for more than a year. Police has intentionally delayed the investigation, they were only working on the case for the first 2-3 months of the arrest, and since then investigation has stalled. Formally Alexey is accused according to statute "hooliganism" of Russian criminal codex, for having taken part to a fight during an anti-fascist concert.

It is late, but I still want to congratulate all the comrades and friends with May Day and the Day of Liberation of the world from the Nazi threat in the memorable days of 1945. The symbolism of the holidays for me is still an important part of those ideas that I live for, although already the second year in a row I am unable to take part in their celebrations. But even in prison, they are life-affirming, as most of the people who surround me here could stand with me in the same column in freedom, shoulder to shoulder.

Russia: Navy veterans call for anarchist protester to be released pending court

Ahead of the March 5 court appearance by anarchist Alexei Polikhovich, common meeting of Central Councils of Navy Social Movements and Unions have issued a call for his release. Polikhovich, 22, who is a retired Northern Fleet conscript sailor, was detained in July 2012 on suspicion of participation in the May 6, 2012, clashes with police during a rally in Moscow's Bolotnaya Square. According to his supporters, Polikhovich dragged to safety one of the fellow protesters who was being beaten by several police officers, whom he pushed off.

Petr Silaev: Audiencia Nacional has refused my extradiction to Russia

 

Today I received the final decision of the National Court of Spain on my case - the extradition request of the Russian police is rejected. What surprised me well was that they added a profound explanation on their decision - including parts very humiliating to the Russian side.
