Let's stop the convention of fascists in Holiday Inn (St. Petersburg)
Alexander Kolchenko is a Crimean anarchist, social activist and antifascist who is held in captivity by the Russian authorities. Along with other Crimean activists, he has been kidnapped by the Russian FSB (ex-KGB) and is now detained as a political hostage in Lefortovo jail in Moscow. He is charged with committing “acts of terrorism” and “belonging to a terrorist community”.
Today on 19 of January in Helsinki anarchists organised action in memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasiya Baburova killed by nazis in the center of Moscow 6 years ago. On this day russian antifascists and comrades showing their solidarity in other countries taking action on the streets to memorise names of victims and not to allow chauvinism and xenophobia capture people's minds.
Ilya Romanov, a 46-years old Russian anarchist, has been under arrest for more than a year for now, from October 29, 2013. He is charged with an attempt of a terrorist attack (art.30 of 205.1 of Russian Criminal Code) and of illegal manufacturing of explosives (222.1 CC). He declares that his rigths are badly violated. In violation of the law courts held behind closed doors, the investigation takes unreasonably long, and all his complaints rejected. His imprisonment was continued till February 26, 2015.
On November 20 Mikalai Dziadok was charged with malicious disobedience to the demands of prison administration (art.411). This became known from a state lawyer, who had been called to attend the procedure. The case was started on November 13. In the near future the anarchist will be transferred to the pre-trial detention centre as a defendant.
Before that Dziadok had spent 8 days in a punishment cell, and was transferred to the solitary confinement.
The story of this interview is different from how interviews are usually recorded. The person answering the questions is in the place not very accessible for journalists – Lefortovo Moscow Pretrial Detention Facility that is still known as RF FSB SIZO (RF FSB SIZO - pre-trial detention facility of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation – transl.).
Lefortovo is the prison that has both special detention conditions and special security measures.

11:00 — 12:15 Anti-eviction struggles in Milan
There are around 4000 flats occupied for housing purposes in Milan. Authorities have threaten to evict 200 of these every months, and as a measure against it, anti-eviction breakfasts have been organised. Demonstrations, marches, neighbourhood and town meetings have been organised on daily basis.

ABC-Moscow included him in the list of anarchist political prisoners. On 26 October 2013 46-year-old anarchist Ilya Romanov was wounded in the city of Nizhnii Novgorod. The explosion which occurred late at night severely injured his left hand and burned his face. Ilya was taken to hospital where doctors amputated his arm. Romanov explained to the police that he unwarily used a pyrotechnic device.

Alexandr Kolchenko and Oleg Sentsov will be under the arrest at least until the middle of April 2015. The investigation is classified by Russian special services.

On 3 July Dzmitry Rezanovich was fined with 15 000 russian rubles and deportation from Russia. It is still unclear for how long it will be forbidden for Dzmitry to enter the russian territory.
The deportation date was not announced yet and some sources point that it is possible only after the fine will be payed. The relatives already got papers to do so.

Aleksandr Kolchenko was detained in Crimea on the 17th of May 2014 on suspicion of participation in a "terrorist group," preparation of a terrorist attack, and arson.

Several hours left before the official start of the World Hockey Championship 2014 in Belarus. Event that was planned in 2009 during another political thaw between the West and Lukashenko was constantly criticized by human rights and political organizations for support of Lukashenko’s political regime. Many groups called national hockey teams to boycott the championship, however International Federation of Ice Hockey decided once again that sport is standing apart from politics and retained the right for hosting championship in Minsk.

Anarchists, organizers of demonstration "Against the war in Ukraine" in Petrozavodsk, Russia were kidnapped and seriously injured by unknown people in masks.
On 9th of March, along with the traditional Food Not Bombs action, demonstration "Against the war in Ukraine" supposed to happen in Petrozavodsk, for a peaceful solution of tense situation there and prevention of bloodshed continuation.
We went and dropped two banners as a protest against treatment of Bolotnaya square demonstrators.
A sentence for Bolotnaya case is expected next monday, 24rd of December.
Our action was also in solidarity for all political prisoners.
