АнтифаЛюдей, вставших на пути у фашистских банд, привела к тем позициям, на которых они сейчас стоят, конечно, критическая мысль человеческая. Они (антифа, антифашисты) сначала размышляли, обсуждали, гадали, судили-рядили. А потом просто перешли к делу. И это не то же самое дело, которым заняты неонаци. Антифа не стремятся убивать. Они бьют, они воспитывают действием.
Анархисты не считают, что люди должны отдать контроль над своими жизнями вождям. Нам не нужны работодатели. Мы хотим жить в свободном мире, а не быть заключёнными в мире, разрезанном на государства, расы и рынки. Выбить фашизм — это жизненно важная часть этой борьбы за свободу.

Значительное число настроенных бунтарски и антиавторитарно молодых людей привлекает боевой антифашизм. Суть этого спонтанного антифашизма, разумеется не заключается в изощрённой критике фашистских теорий или в подробном понимании фактической истории фашистского движения. Это скорее инстинктивное отвержение традиционных фашистских представлений о том, кто является высшим и кто — низшим; что представляет собой добропорядочную жизнь и что — развращённую.

Фашисты хотят создать общество и культуру только для тех, кого они считают высшими людьми. Мы — нет. Они хотят дисциплины и порядка. Мы желаем автономии и творчества. Их цель — идеализированное, преимущественно мифическое прошлое, мы хотим совершенно другого будущего. Они строятся за всемогущими вождями; мы хотим критичных и сознательных рядовых участников движения.

On racism in the Russian antifa and hardcore subculture

In February, a critique of Moscow-based bands What We Feel(WWF) and Moscow Death Brigade(MDB) written by “Antifascist Subculture Worldwide”-collective appeared on the German website, Linksunten (in English). Both WWF, MDB (1) as well as 210 (2)  have since responded to the criticisms. I would like to add few points to answers of WWF and MDB.

Russian 'antifa' discrediting antifascism

This article criticizing the Russian music anti-fascists scene was published on the German website Linksunten in February and had a great resonance and a storm of discussion in the international anti-fascist movement, but has not yet been translated into English. We have corrected this for the readers who do not speak German, so they can take a look and make their own conclusions.

Interview with a representative fan groups Warriors Gate 6 (Panetolikos Agrinio)

The provincial Greek town of Agrinio can hardly something to interest demanding public. Essentially it stands out among thousands of other industrial cities only a local football club and its fan movement. Warriors can rightly be considered one of the top local firms in Greece, in his city they can to fight even with a famous Athenian hooligans. With regard to policy, Agrinio undoubtedly be called anti-fascist city.

Azzurra Familia (Pas Giannina, Greece)

Azzurra Familia club was created in 2013 after fleeing of several members from the leading club, Blue Vayeros. The reasons for such withdrawal was the mismanagement of the leaders for the organization of the curva but also unusual support for the team management, they work regardless of the tragic mistakes of them.

So they decided to work with independent creating a new club keeping distances from the administration of  PAS Giannina.

Interview with a representative of the fan group XanthiFans

Again we return to Greece. This time we will focus on the region of Thrace, which is on the east of the country. Xanthi town is one of the largest in the area, and the football club of the same name because of its achievements is often called the "Queen of Thrace". Fan movement FC Xanthi takes pride of place among the local Greek ultras scene. The city is multiethnic and no problems in this regard in the stands does not arise, Nazis are here despise everything. Our friend and supporter of FC Xanthi agreed to answer a few questions.

A memorial action for Anastasia Baburova and Stanislav Markelov in Helsinki

Today on 19 of January in Helsinki anarchists organised action in memory of lawyer Stanislav Markelov and journalist Anastasiya Baburova killed by nazis in the center of Moscow 6 years ago. On this day russian antifascists and comrades showing their solidarity in other countries taking action on the streets to memorise names of victims and not to allow chauvinism and xenophobia capture people's minds.

Interview with girl ultras "Spartak Nalchik"

Team Spartak Nalchik has never been a serious financial support like Anji Makhachkala, but his mark in the history of football in the Caucasus it postponed. We hope that the trend created in these years, will continue to evolve in Nalchik. At the very least, any precedent antifascist ultras in the former USSR and, especially, in Russia deserves a detailed review.

Interview with a representative of the fan club Green Ghetto (FC Agrotikos Asteras)

At this time we are back to Thessaloniki. This city is known for many football fans three clubs - PAOK, Aris and Iraklis. But the soccer city life does not end. And we want to introduce you to one of the many small football clubs in Thessaloniki. We go to the western part of Thessaloniki, to introduce you to the club Agrotikos Asteras, which is based in the area of Evosmos. Interview with a representative fan group Panthers (Panionios, Nea Smyrna)

  Again we return to Athens. Panionios is considered quite a serious team in the scale of Greece and has a very impressive fan base. However, with all of this club is very difficult to compete in popularity with three Athenian giants. Nevertheless Panionios trying to compete with them and has long established itself as the fourth team of the Greek capital. His Panthers fan movement is one of the top in the country and has repeatedly stated his anti-fascist positions.

 

Fanzine "Leva Tribina" (Serbia)

The idea of creating zina "Leva tribina" appeared a few months ago and we are currently implement this project. Was initiated by the people of a small, informal, non-hierarchical Militant anti-fascist groups from Nis (city in south-eastern Serbia).  Fanzine is a continuation of the same name of the blog, which was created six months ago. As the name implies fanzine (and blog) cover the activities of left-wing and anti-fascist groups of fans, mainly from the sphere of football.

St. Pauli Polish Supporters

We are John Marten's Crew – the only official Sankt Pauli fanclub in Poland. Name of Our Crew, derived from John Kuna who was a Polish pirate. John Kuna is a a the hero of the novel written by Janusz Meissner.

Brigada 97 (Deportivo Guadalajara)

RFC Lions Ska

“RFC Lions Ska Football Club” was born in Caserta (Italy) in 2011, from an idea of a group of boys and girls sharing the passion for sport and ska music. It is not just about a ‘normal’ football team, but it is a free association of people, open to everybody who agrees on the principles of the project (both in- and outside the field): to carry forward a different understanding of what football should be, open and accessible for everybody, grounded on the values of antiracism and pursuing the eradication of every kind of discrimination.

The End of Antifa?

Despite the bleakness of the situation in Ukraine, at least I was amused by the fact that Nazis were fighting on both sides of the front, killing each other.

But then I found out that some "anti-fascists" have been doing the same 1) 2) 3).

I am sure that in terms of the entire former Soviet Union only a minority of the Antifas is willing to die for Poroshenko or Putin. However, the scale of this problem is significant, and any attempts to react to it 4) also have their shortcomings 5).

Moscow Autonomous Action on the Ukrainian war

This text was written as an answer to our foreign friends' questions about situation in the Eastern Ukraine and Russian anarchists' attitude towards that. We hope it will be of use to everybody interested in these matters.

The situation is complex and controversial and you should understand that the text below does not (and can't) reflect the opinion of all Russian anti-fascists and anti-capitalists. We discussed this within our group, but even here we have a couple of contradicting points of view.
